Description

This series leverages state-of-the-art thin-film filter technology to offer a reliable solution for combining or separating light at distinct wavelengths while meticulously maintaining the polarization state of the optical signals.
Crafted with a focus on durability and precision, these multiplexers exhibit exceptional performance characteristics including extremely low insertion loss, which is typically around 0.6 dB and can reach a maximum of 0.8 dB. This low insertion loss ensures minimal signal degradation and optimal efficiency in transmission. The devices are engineered to deliver high isolation, with typical values around 30 dB and a minimum of 25 dB, effectively minimizing signal crosstalk and ensuring clear, uninterrupted data channels.

The 2 µm Filter Wavelength Division Multiplexer series is based on environmentally stable thin film filter technology. The devices combine or separate light at different wavelength in a wide wavelength range. They offer very low insertion loss, low polarization dependence, high isolation and excellent environmental stability. High power handling capability can be achieved through unique pigtail processing and high quality AR coating.
