Description

The GKER Photonics Singlemode Wavelength Division Multiplexers (GK-WDM Series) are high-performance optical devices engineered to combine or separate light at 980 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths. Designed for precision and reliability, these multiplexers utilize state-of-the-art thin-film filter technology, which ensures exceptionally low insertion loss, minimal polarization dependence, and high isolation. This advanced technology is critical in applications where signal clarity and integrity are paramount, such as in Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFA), Cable Television (CATV) systems, and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) networks.

The GK-WDM Series components are characterized by their low insertion loss of just 0.15 dB, making them highly efficient in maintaining signal strength. With a minimum isolation of 20 dB, they effectively prevent signal interference, while the polarization dependent loss is kept to a maximum of 0.1 dB, ensuring that polarization effects do not significantly impact performance. These multiplexers also offer excellent thermal stability, with a thermal stability factor of ≤ 0.002 dB/ºC, which allows them to perform reliably across a broad temperature range from -40ºC to +75ºC.

The devices are capable of handling up to 300 mW of continuous optical power, making them suitable for high-power applications.
